Hackers sell phones of almost 500 million users from around the world

According to the vendor, the database was recent and contained 487 million phone numbers belonging to active WhatsApp users in 84 countries.

The source didn’t reveal how she got the numbers

Confirm to be used for WhatsApp and put up for sale. Such a database could be used for spam, phishing and other such activities. And there’s no way to know if your phone is on that list.
