The latest WhatsApp beta gives us a fascinating glimpse into the future, with three new features to look forward to. So what’s in store? Advance search, password-protect backups are the two key features on the way, along with auto-download rules.
As of now, there is no evidence that these features are in the works for Android users, while in iOS Advanced Search is already available in WhatsApp beta for iOS 2.20.30.25. For anyone with a huge archive of messages, you will know how difficult it can be to find files and links that have been sent to you. Fortunately, things are about to get a lot easier.
Like WABeta Info Reports,
Advanced Search makes it incredibly simple to Philippine WhatsApp Number List discover different types of content. The feature lets you search for text for photos, audio, links, GIFs, video, and documents. It’s unclear when this feature will make its way to everyone, but it’s something that will be welcome when it finally arrives.
Another new option discovered in the latest beta version of the Android app is new auto-download rules. The feature is currently under development and when it is complet. It will help you save your data. WABetaInfo explains that when enable, “frequently forwarded images, videos, documents, and voice messages will never be automatically download from WhatsApp.” This option will be enabled by default when it rolls out.
It is already possible to back up your WhatsApp WhatsApp Number Database messages to Google Drive, but in the future you will be able to secure them with a password to prevent unauthorize access. Future versions of the chat app will give you the option to encrypt backups and protect them with a password of at least eight characters.
The password you choose is not sync with Facebook or WhatsApp
Which is a kind of double-edge sword. On the one hand, this Bulk Database greatly reduces the risk of it being intercept or hack, but on the other hand, it means that if you forget your password, you lose access to your backup.
These features are not yet functional, but it will be the users of the beta version of the application who will have the opportunity to try it first. If you are not yet register as a WhatsApp beta tester, you can do so here.
