Business Dialogue Categories Affect New Tariffs
At the moment, the WhatsApp Business API service divides all dialogues into 2 large categories: Custom, client-initiated;
Business dialogues initiated by companies.
The second category of business dialogues is assessed in terms of benefit to customers. And from 01.04.2023 it will be differentiated into 3 additional categories:
Service messages , such as when and where the customer can pick up their order
And authentication messages , these include codes for confirming an order or registering on a website, etc.;
Marketing messages whose main purpose is to promote business and increase the company’s revenue.
The cost of a dialogue with a client will depend on the Australia WhatsApp Number List category to which the first message template belongs. After paying for a template message, a 24-hour dialogue window opens, within which you can exchange messages for free. The main thing is that all messages belong to this dialogue category. If you send a template message in a service dialogue that Meta* considers marketing, you must pay for it again and after payment a separate window will open. Due to the new categorization, pricing will be revised and will come into effect on June 1, 2023.
At the moment we can announce the following:
Tariffs will remain the same for dialogues initiated by users ;
Tariffs will be reduced for dialogues initiated by the business if they are of a service or authentication nature. For example, it is important for a company to know the client’s opinion on the quality of an order or service provided;
Tariffs will increase for all marketing messages if the dialogue was initiated by the company. There is no current information yet on how many times they will increase.

All active dialogues will be automatically assigned WhatsApp Number Database a specific category from April 1, 2023. This category can be revised by sending a request to the official WABA customer support

The dialogue window in which you can chat with customers for free has been extended to 72 hours. This update only applies to conversations initiated by customers who click on ads set up on Facebook*.
It is still possible to communicate with the first 1000 Bulk Database clients – for free. But with one important condition – now only users are the initiators of dialogues.
